Boy Scouts
I spent 6 years in boy scouts, during this time I attended multiple leadership courses and led my troop to recognition at camp hale. I achieved my eagle scout badge by constructing a ga-ga ball pit for a local church. I made many good friends and learned important skills through the Boy Scouts and am glad I became involved.
Stillwater Soccer Club Coach
I was shocked when I was asked to coach children's soccer but It quickly became my favorite way to spend my Tuesday and Thursdays. The commissioner, Irene Upson, was a massive help in stepping into this unfamiliar role and bringing joy to the kids while teaching them useful skills.

Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature
Becoming a member of the Oklahoma intercollegiate legislature was one of the best choices of my life. I made and nurtured lifelong friendships and learned more than I ever thought I could about legislation. I was able to serve on a variety of leadership roles during this time, leading to the learning of skills I used to make this website. I would highly recommend checking this organization out or anything similar if you're entering college.
Oklahoma Democratic Party
I haven’t always been so liberal but around 2016 I became aware of the urgency with which our democrat needs to be secured. I was blessed to serve in many roles in the party and learn so much about the way a functional party can support candidates as well as the average person and elected party members. I will forever remember my time with the ODP fondly. Thank you Lauren <3
